    • Essations Soothing Scalp Base - Divide the hair into four sections in preparation for the relaxer process. Begin applying the base after the 7N1 Positive Charged Conditioner has been applied as a protector on the previously relaxed hair. Using ¼ to ½ inch partings in each section, carefully apply the base to the scalp only, taking care not to get any base on the new growth. Do not scratch the scalp, because this may cause irritation during the relaxer process. Carefully read and follow the manufactures detailed instructions enclosed.
    • Essations Gentle Strength Conditioning No Base Relaxer Creme - Before applying the relaxer, apply 7N1 Positive Charged Conditioner to previously relaxed hair, and base the clients’ hairline, skin and scalp. Part the hair into four equal sections. Carefully review the timing guide on the instructions to determine the appropriate time for application and smoothing. Put on protective gloves, and start the timer.

      Start applying the desired Essations Relaxer at the nape of the neck, leaving the hairline until last. Distribute the relaxer generously by making small partings and applying the relaxer quickly and evenly. The relaxer should be placed approximately ¼ inch away from the scalp. Work upward toward the crown. Apply to the front sections. When application is complete, begin smoothing the hair in the same order as the relaxer was originally applied. Smooth with short, firm strokes using the back of the comb or the side of the fingers. Don’t pull or stretch the hair. BE GENTLE. As you near your time limit, check for straightness on a small section of the front crown area. If the hair looks straight and does not return to its original curl pattern when pushed in the direction of the scalp, it is fully relaxed.

      When time is up, rinse out all the relaxer with a steady stream of lukewarm water. Check the nape, hairline, and scalp to ensure no traces of the relaxer remain. Apply Essations Neutralizing Cleansing Shampoo to the hair. Work it into a lather, and rinse. Repeat the neutralizing application two more times. Rinse well, and towel blot. Proceed to condition the hair using the Essations 7N1 Positive Charged Conditioner, distributing it generously through the hair. Gently comb through the hair, and let it sit for 5-8 minutes. For a deep conditioning treatment, place a plastic cap on the hair, and put the client under the dryer for 10 minutes. Rinse and proceed to styling.
    • Essations Neutralizing Cleansing Shampoo - Essations Neutralizing Cleansing Shampoo is used immediately after rinsing any of the Essations Relaxers from the hair. Make sure no visible traces of the relaxer remain. After relaxing, you must perform two lathers using the Neutralizing Cleansing Shampoo to be sure the action of the relaxer has stopped. Apply Essations Neutralizing Cleansing Shampoo to the hair and work it into a rich lather without manipulating the scalp with nails. Rinse and shampoo again. Rinse again and towel blot. Three lathers are recommended in order to ensure all the relaxer is gone.
    • Essations Intense Hydration Detangling Shampoo - Apply shampoo to wet hair, shampoo thoroughly and rinse. Shampoo the hair again, rinse and towel blot to remove excess water. If using after the Neutralizing, Relief Scalp and Dandruff, or Refresh Daily Clarifying Shampoo, achieve one lather. Apply the shampoo, lather well, rinse thoroughly and towel dry. Proceed to condition.
    • Essations 7in1 Positive Charged Conditioner - As A Pre-Relaxer Conditioner: Essations 7N1 Positive Charged Conditioner is to be used during the preparation for the relaxer process. It should be applied after sectioning the hair into four parts, but before basing the scalp, nape of the neck, and ear areas. The conditioner should be distributed generously to the already processed parts of the hair shaft. This is done to protect the hair from possible overlapping of the relaxer.

      As A Strengthening Conditioner: After shampooing and rinsing the hair completely, apply the 7N1 Positive Charged Conditioner generously through the hair. Comb through the hair with a wide toothed comb, and let it sit for 3-5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and towel blot the hair. Proceed to styling.

      As A Deep Penetrating Conditioner: After shampooing and rinsing the hair thoroughly, apply the 7N1 Positive Charged Conditioner generously through the hair. Comb through the hair with a wide toothed comb, and put a plastic cap on. Put the client under the dryer for 10-15 minutes. Remove the cap, rinse thoroughly, and towel blot.

      As A Protein Treatment: After shampooing and thoroughly rinsing the hair, apply Essations Instant Hair Mender through the hair. In doing this, the product will begin to suds. Put on a plastic cap, and put the client under the dryer for 10 minutes. Remove the cap and rinse completely. Then, apply Essations 7N1 Positive Charged Conditioner liberally to the hair. Put a plastic cap on, and put the client under the dryer for 10 minutes. Rinse the hair thoroughly and towel dry. Proceed to styling.

    • Essations Neutralizing Cleansing Shampoo - Di Water (Aqua), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Polyquaternium -7, Cocamide MEA, Cetrimonium Chloride, Methyl-Gluceth-10, Dm Dm Hydantoin, Fragrance (Parfum).
